Construction Superintendent
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Company Overview:
A well-established commercial contractor in the Milwaukee area is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on large multifamily residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about building high-quality housing developments and collaborating with a strong project team.
Responsibilities:
Manage all onsite construction activities for multifamily projects from groundbreaking through completion
Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams to maintain schedule and quality
Enforce jobsite safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards
Maintain and monitor project schedules, proactively resolving field challenges to avoid delays
Conduct site inspections, manage punch lists, and oversee project closeout procedures
Serve as the primary on-site contact for project managers, architects, and clients
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability on the job site
Track and report daily progress, labor productivity, and material deliveries
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large multifamily residential projects (ground-up preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and complex timelines
Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation
OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
