Job Description

A very well-known CPA firm is looking to add a Senior Tax Manager to their team. This stable and growing organization offers their clients valuable knowledge and expertise in the tax services industry.  There is tremendous upside, with a track to Partner and ownership in the firm..  

  Senior Tax Manager Functions:

• Conduct review and have ultimate signing responsibility for more complex tax returns.
• Provide  tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients
• Review required communications to clients, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with professional guidelines.
• Provide timely and complete evaluations and counseling for the staff accountants
• Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff.

Senior Tax Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, MST/MBT degree is highly desirable
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting
• Prior experience managing tax engagements and signing tax returns
• CPA Certificate
• Proven ability to prepare and review complex tax returns
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self starter, with strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

 Senior Tax Manager Compensation:

• $150,000-200,000
• Excellent benefits package
