Senior Attorney – Litigation
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Position Type: Full-Time
A growing law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic litigation group in Milwaukee. This role offers high visibility, extensive client interaction, and significant opportunities for long-term career advancement and leadership.
The position handles complex matters involving property restriction enforcement, contract disputes, construction defects, and other real property issues.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a complex, diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including complaint/answer drafting, discovery, witness preparation, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, trial conduct, and appellate work.
Maintain strong relationships by providing strategic advice to clients on case status and legal strategy.
Chair client corporate meetings and lead public speaking engagements on behalf of the firm.
Oversee and manage a high project load while directing support and administrative staff.
Utilize legal tech platforms to manage electronic task lists, timekeeping, and billing.
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Active admission to practice law in Wisconsin.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in civil litigation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and modern legal management software.
Professional Attributes: Proven history of dedication, hard work, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Availability: Standard business hours, with availability for select evening and weekend client meetings as needed.
