Senior Attorney – Litigation

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Position Type: Full-Time

A growing law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic litigation group in Milwaukee. This role offers high visibility, extensive client interaction, and significant opportunities for long-term career advancement and leadership.

The position handles complex matters involving property restriction enforcement, contract disputes, construction defects, and other real property issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a complex, diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including complaint/answer drafting, discovery, witness preparation, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, trial conduct, and appellate work.

  • Maintain strong relationships by providing strategic advice to clients on case status and legal strategy.

  • Chair client corporate meetings and lead public speaking engagements on behalf of the firm.

  • Oversee and manage a high project load while directing support and administrative staff.

  • Utilize legal tech platforms to manage electronic task lists, timekeeping, and billing.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active admission to practice law in Wisconsin.

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in civil litigation.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and modern legal management software.

  • Professional Attributes: Proven history of dedication, hard work, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Availability: Standard business hours, with availability for select evening and weekend client meetings as needed.
