Litigation Legal Assistant (Hybrid) in San Diego

Job Description

Role: Legal Assistant — Litigation
Location: San Diego, on-site (hybrid -1 day a week remote after 45 days)
Compensation: $98,000–$112,000 DOE
Start: As soon as possible
 
Must-have experience

• 5+ years as a litigation legal assistant
• State and federal court filings and procedures
• Must have Business litigation background (Healthcare a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proactive, organized, have ownership of deadlines, and a great sense of urgency
• Exceptional attention to detail; able to manage competing priorities, and have great follow through
• Must have calendaring experience and have case-management support to keep attorneys on track
• Must have strong technical skills (e.g., iManage a plus, Adobe Pro, Word formatting, TOC & TOA)
• Must be able to communicate with clients as needed.

Primary support (3 attorneys)

• Managing Partner, San Diego office
• Two additional partners

 
The desk is considered busy but very manageable with a steady pace, with administrative overflow support and resources available. This is a hybrid role, with one day a week remote (starting after 45 days of employment).

• Annual $1,000 health and wellness benefit paid by the firm
• Year-end bonus
