What You'll Do
Review drawings, specifications and bid documents.
Perform plumbing quantity takeoffs and develop labor/material pricing.
Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
Identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions and value-engineering opportunities.
Prepare bid summaries and support estimate reviews and project handoffs.
Maintain accurate estimating records and historical cost information.
Qualifications
2+ years of plumbing or mechanical estimating experience preferred.
Commercial plumbing construction knowledge.
Experience with one or more estimating platforms such as Trimble/Accubid, FastPIPE/FastDUCT, AutoBid
Mechanical or QuoteSoft.
Strong blueprint and specification reading skills.
Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage bid deadlines.
