Job Description

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT

Seeking a General Superintendent who doesn’t flinch at 30+ story builds and knows how to run a high-rise like a well-oiled machine. This role is for a builder—not just a coordinator—who’s been in the game long enough to know that success comes from solid planning, a sharp eye on the details, and the respect of the crews in the field.

You’ll be the lead boots-on-the-ground for large-scale commercial high-rise projects in the Tampa area. From excavation to topping out, you’ll own field operations, lead the site team, and keep things running safely, smoothly, and ahead of schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Run the site day-to-day—safety, logistics, scheduling, manpower, quality—you’re the one keeping it all on track

  • Manage multiple superintendents and field staff across various phases of the project

  • Work hand-in-hand with PMs, subs, engineers, and owners to drive project milestones

  • Own the schedule: build it, update it, enforce it

  • Anticipate problems before they hit—material delays, trade conflicts, inspection issues—and get in front of them

  • Be the main field face of the project—clients and partners will know and trust you

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in commercial construction, with 5+ years running high-rise projects as the lead Superintendent

  • Strong history of completing multi-story projects (15 stories and up preferred)

  • Deep knowledge of structural systems, MEP coordination, envelope installation, and all vertical logistics

  • Solid tech skills—Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software (Primavera or MS Project), and general digital fluency

  • Leadership presence: You know how to run a crew, command respect, and solve problems under pressure

  • OSHA 30 required, additional safety certifications a plus

  • A builder’s mindset—decisive, proactive, and accountable

Why This Role?

  • Work on skyline-defining projects that will be around for decades

  • Be part of a company that backs their superintendents and values field leadership

  • Aggressive pay, bonus, vehicle allowance, and solid benefits

  • Career track with room to grow—we promote from within
