Project Engineer – Civil/Site | Tampa, FL / Florida Region

We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer – Civil/Site to join a dynamic Site/Civil Engineering Team in the Tampa / Florida region. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a Project Engineer – Civil/Site who wants to grow their career, work on diverse projects, and contribute to meaningful community development.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer – Civil/Site, you will play a key role in designing, planning, and managing civil engineering projects. This position offers exposure to a wide range of site development work and provides opportunities for rapid growth and professional advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Design site layout, grading, and stormwater management plans.

  • Manage utilities, soil erosion, and sediment control measures.

  • Oversee landscaping and lighting design.

  • Project management including zoning, land development permitting, field inspections, and environmental impact assessments.

  • Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic design and analysis, site plan drafting, and preparation of project reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D and HydroCAD is a plus.

  • Strong communication, organization, and self-motivation skills.

  • Experience with site and grading design, zoning, and site plan permitting preferred.

  • Technical writing experience is a plus.

Compensation

  • $70,000 – $90,000 per year, based on experience, education, and qualifications, with eligibility for annual bonus opportunities.
