This company is looking for PREMIER candidates to fill a recently opened position of Restoration General Manager. We are partnered in helping a growing and well-established restoration construction company find qualified and talented individuals like yourself. They are interested in highly-motivated and proactive individuals to fill their open role of Restoration General Manager. Candidates must have experience in working within this role or a very similar position.

Restoration General Manager 

 

To help maintain and grow this standard the general manager will oversee daily activities. The successful general manager will have a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments toward maximum productivity. Highly skilled in human resources, finance, and contents restoration. Additionally, the general manager will have a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team. The ultimate responsibility is to increase our operational efficiency in the contents, cleaning, warehouse and delivery departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and pack back of documents/merchandise as part of the PO/PB/Cleaning and Restoration process

Adjust staffing levels/schedules according to volume/priorities/holidays, etc.

Assure all Operations departments are fully staffed with proper, trained personnel

Responsible for the safety program including leading/participating in safety meetings.

Oversee the investigation and resolution of inventory counts that don’t match or inventory unable to locate.

Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.

Responsible for the 5S’s: sort, straighten, shine, standardize and sustain.

Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals

Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities

Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits

Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives

Communicating with the internal partners about shifting company priorities and projects

Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue

Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish work schedules; manage time and attendance; provide training including cross-training; assign, direct and review work; write and deliver performance reviews; provide input on promotions; and address performance/conduct issues through the corrective action process for the operations staff as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification/Licensure: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a restoration or construction industry, warehouse or distribution environment including a supervisory role is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in OSHA regulations. Demonstrated ability in planning and managing multiple projects, and in problem analysis and problem resolution. Strong decision making and negotiating skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Xactimate, and iCat software a plus.
