Family Law Associate Attorney – Hybrid Opportunity

GPAC, a recruitment firm with over 30 years of success, has partnered with a respected law firm in New Jersey to find a skilled Family Law Associate Attorney. This is a hybrid position offering the chance to build a rewarding legal career in a supportive, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients on family law matters including divorce, child custody, adoption, and support issues

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and contracts

  • Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis to support legal strategies

  • Work closely with other attorneys and legal staff to manage case flow and client communication

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and responsiveness


Essential Functions:

  • Prepare detailed case files, exhibits, and supporting materials for court

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather case-related information

  • Stay current with New Jersey family law statutes, regulations, and legal precedents

  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure deadlines are met


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey

  • 2–5 years of experience practicing family law

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong legal research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
