Tax Manager / Director

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Overview

A national professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager or Director for its growing Northeast tax practice, with Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania among the listed locations. This role consults with clients on succession and tax planning, leads and reviews corporate and individual tax engagements, and develops team members.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning
• Lead, schedule, supervise and review tax engagements
• Develop and train team members
• Perform a range of tax procedures based on the size and complexity of each engagement
• Attend industry events and trainings and build industry expertise
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm; 10+ years highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Active CPA (JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA)
• Passion for public accounting and corporate tax
