A leading Pittsburgh-based legal team is urgently seeking a Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to support a sophisticated client base, including high-net-worth individuals and families. This position is ideal for an attorney who excels at translating complex tax concepts into clear, actionable guidance and who values building long-term, client-centered relationships.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)

The ideal candidate brings both strong technical tax knowledge and a people-focused advisory approach, helping clients navigate an ever-changing and complex tax landscape. You will work directly with clients on comprehensive tax planning, estate strategies, and wealth transfer matters while building trusted, long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families

  • Advise on trusts, estates, wealth transfers, and multigenerational planning

  • Break down complex tax and financial concepts into clear, understandable guidance

  • Collaborate with clients to align planning strategies with personal and financial goals

  • Prepare and review tax-related documents and filings involving estates, trusts, and business entities

  • Support attorneys and clients with charitable giving strategies and long-range tax planning

  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness

Qualifications & Experience

  • J.D. and admission to practice (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania

  • Experience in tax law, trusts & estates, or private client services

  • Prior background in public accounting or tax advisory is highly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of tax issues involving S corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, individuals, and charitable entities

  • Exceptional ability to simplify and explain complex tax matters

  • Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work
