Confidential Litigation Associate Opportunity – Northern Virginia
A well-respected boutique litigation practice in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join their team. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take ownership of complex commercial matters with limited oversight.
About the Role:
This role involves handling sophisticated business and commercial disputes in both federal and state courts. The attorney will work closely with seasoned trial lawyers and be involved in all phases of litigation, including drafting, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial-related work.
Key Details:
Experience: 2–7 years of civil/commercial litigation experience
Location: Fully in-office in Northern Virginia
Annual Billables: 1,900 hours
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience; discretionary bonus structure
Environment: Best suited for someone who can step in and contribute immediately—this is not a mentorship-heavy role
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Comfortable managing cases with autonomy
Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
Able to collaborate effectively within a small, highly skilled team
Interested in high-level commercial litigation rather than volume-based defense work
