Location Manager Trainee Key Responsibilities:
Learn and perform day-to-day operations at a grain elevator, including grain receiving, shipping, drying, and quality control.
Gain proficiency in safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep.
Collaborate with teams to manage inventory and optimize storage capacity.
Work alongside experienced Location Managers to understand business operations, customer service, and employee management.
Assist in building strong relationships with farmers, vendors, and community stakeholders.
Support the development and execution of strategies to achieve operational and financial goals.
Participate in leadership development activities, including coaching, performance evaluations, and project management.
Location Manager Trainee Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Strong interest in agribusiness, grain handling, and facility management.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including extended hours during peak seasons.
Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a leadership role within the agriculture industry.
Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards is a plus.
