As the Safety Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the safety program on construction projects, with a focus on water and wastewater.

Position Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

- Conduct safety inspections and audits

- Provide safety training to employees

- Investigate accidents and incidents

- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards

 

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Education in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management

- Professional certification in safety management preferred

- CPR/First Aid, EMT certification, and OSHA instructor certifications are a plus

- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

 

Position Skills:

- Effective communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Strong work ethic

- Willingness to travel to project site

- OSHA 500 & 501 REQUIRED
