We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Wall Panel Designer to join our growing team! This role focuses on the design and development of structural wall panel systems for multi-family and residential projects. If you have a strong foundation in construction, math, and design—and thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment—this could be a great fit.
As a Wall Panel Designer, you’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to create accurate 2D/3D layouts, cut sheets, and job site deliverables. This is a remote position offering stability and long-term opportunity with an established company.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities For A Wall Panel Designer:
Create detailed 2D and 3D wall panel designs using MiTek and other design tools
Generate accurate panel layouts, truss features, and take-offs
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders
Analyze job site data and field conditions to produce practical and code-compliant design plans
Develop cut sheets and production documents based on client selections
Assist in project estimation and material take-offs
Conduct field measurements and job site visits as needed
Complete accurate as-built documentation to verify installations
Solve complex design problems with creativity and efficiency
Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
✅ What You Bring In A Wall Panel Designer Role:
5+ years of experience in wall panel and/or truss design
High proficiency in MiTek software
Solid understanding of math, engineering principles, and general construction practices
Familiarity with building codes and structural design standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem-solver who can think critically and adapt quickly
