TD Consulting, a respected and growing public accounting and advisory firm based in Milwaukie, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager or higher to join its leadership team. The Tax Manager (or higher-level position) will oversee client engagements, mentor team members, and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm. This is a client-facing leadership role with an emphasis on quality service, technical expertise, and proactive planning.
Manage and review complex individual, business, and trust tax returns
Lead tax planning and advisory services for clients in various industries
Supervise and mentor staff and seniors
Conduct tax research and present practical solutions
Build and sustain long-term client relationships
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Support business development and firm growth initiatives
Active CPA license required
7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Expertise in federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning
Experience with closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
Familiarity with tax software and workflow tools
