Production Scheduler
One of our top paper/packaging companies that has the most innovative software, machinery and technology in the industry is seeking a Production Scheduler that will schedule machine operations, oversee and coordinate all production activity with sales, sales service, and shipping to ensure that orders are being handled properly.
REQUIRED:
- 3 - 4 years of Production Scheduler experience in the field or related area
- Previous experience in a corrugated scheduling department and/or box plant operation
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Computer literate and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret production reports, technical procedures, manuals, regulations, and codes.
- Ability to write business reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and outside company officials.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts related to production scheduling as well as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and measurements furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
