Job Description

🌳 Orchard Manager – Lead, Grow, and Harvest Success 🍎🍑

Do you have a passion for orchards, modern farming techniques, and leading teams? Here’s your chance to manage over 650 acres of apples and peaches with a family-owned operation that values innovation, tradition, and long-term growth.

We’re looking for a hands-on Orchard Manager who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a real impact on a thriving agricultural business. If you love the idea of blending horticultural expertise with leadership and operational excellence, this role is for you.

🌟 What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of daily orchard operations — from planting and pruning to harvest and beyond.
  • Monitor orchards for plant health, pests, and soil conditions while implementing cutting-edge growing practices.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse workforce, ensuring safety, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Oversee crop schedules, spray programs, irrigation, and nutrient applications.
  • Be the go-to leader during harvest — directing crews, coordinating equipment, and delivering results.
  • Keep accurate records and stay ahead of compliance standards (food safety, pesticide applications, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the management team while also rolling up your sleeves in the field.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of orchard management experience (commercial apple production strongly preferred).
  • A strong horticultural background with a passion for modern, sustainable practices.
  • Experience managing pesticide programs on a farm/orchard.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency a big plus!).
  • A leader who can balance planning with hands-on work — and motivate others to do their best.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and a knack for accurate record-keeping.
  • Valid driver’s license required; pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain) needed.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a bonus!

💼 What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary starting at $75,000+ (based on experience)
  • Health, life, and disability insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Retirement plan
  • Company-provided work vehicle

This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to grow your career in agriculture with a leadership role that has a lasting impact on both the land and the people who work it.
