Job Description

About the Role

We’re seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our rotomolding facility. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing people, processes, and production with a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and team development.

If you’re a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of rotational molding and plastic manufacturing—and you know how to optimize workflow without sacrificing quality—we’d love to talk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations including production scheduling, staffing, material flow, and equipment usage

  • Supervise and develop production teams across multiple shifts to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are met

  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in throughput, waste reduction, and downtime

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, training programs, and OSHA compliance

  • Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to improve processes, address issues, and drive performance

  • Manage production planning and inventory controls to meet customer demand

  • Analyze production data and implement lean manufacturing or 5S practices as needed

  • Support onboarding, training, coaching, and performance reviews of team leads and production staff

  • Help maintain and improve mold maintenance schedules, material changeovers, and cycle time optimization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a plastics manufacturing environment; rotomolding experience strongly preferred

  • Proven background managing teams in a high-volume, hands-on production setting

  • Strong understanding of rotational molding processes, materials, and equipment

  • Working knowledge of safety protocols, quality assurance systems, and production metrics

  • Experience implementing lean principles, process improvements, and operational best practices

  • Excellent problem-solving, team-building, and communication skills

  • Comfortable working on the floor and in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Technical or engineering degree a plus, but not required

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and bonus structure

  • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)

  • PTO and paid holidays

  • Opportunity to shape the future of a growing manufacturing operation

  • Supportive leadership and a team-oriented culture
