A national leader in the industrial/commercial construction industry is seeking Traveling Project Managers with Data Center experience. These positions will oversee large-scale projects across the nation from conception through closeout. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project teams to successful completion. Responsibilities:
Lead all phases of project management, from preconstruction to turnover
Partner closely with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Review and interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications
Oversee procurement and change management processes
Provide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders
Mentor and support assistant project managers and project engineers
Basic Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within commercial or industrial construction
Proven experience managing projects valued at $30 million+
Data center or mission-critical project experience required
Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and construction means and methods
Ability to travel nationwide as required
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, or other project management/scheduling software
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
