Job Title: Labor & Employment Attorney

About the Opportunity:
A well-regarded Sacramento firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join its growing team. The position is well-suited for an attorney who values a collaborative environment and is eager to take on both advisory and litigation work. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with private employers and public agencies while helping them navigate complex workplace law matters with clarity and confidence.
Counsel both private businesses and public agencies on workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, and risk management strategies.
Manage labor and employment litigation through all stages, including law and motion, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
Draft, review, and refine employment agreements, handbooks, and related documents.
Provide practical advice on personnel matters and workplace challenges.
Partner with colleagues and clients to craft effective, business-minded solutions.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of litigation experience, with labor & employment focus strongly preferred.
Trial exposure or courtroom experience is a plus.
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory issues.
Strong academic record, professional judgment, and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
Proactive, organized, and able to balance multiple matters simultaneously.
Team player who can also work independently.
Active California Bar membership in good standing.
