Dry Plant Manager in Terre Haute

Job Description

Gpac is working with a progressive ag operation in West Central Indiana that is looking for an Operations Manager for their Dry Plant Operations. The Operations Manager will plan and coordinate all of the work activities related to dry plant operations to ensure high-quality products and great customer service!

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Serve as the leader of the Dry Plant Operations team
• Coordinate schedules, work assignments, and production practices to meet the goals of the company
• Effectively manage budgets and inventory
• Be a leader for team members, agronomists, and other operations employees to ensure the success of the company
• Support field activities including soil sampling, mapping, and recommendations for applications
• Abide by OSHA regulations

Operations Manager Requirements:

• 2 year degree in Ag Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
• Knowledge of ag industry and conventional farming practices
• Basic computer skills
• Class A CDL (or ability to obtain)
