Role Description
This is a 3-day/24hrs weekly position, extendable to 5 days with Manufacturing Engineering additional responsibilities, in a contract manufacturing environment for Cable Assemblies, PCB Assemblies, and Electro-Mechanical Assemblies.

This is a part-time Quality Manager role. As an on-site position located in North Attleboro, MA, this individual will be responsible for ensuring that all products and assembly activities meet quality standards. Additional duties include developing and implementing quality systems, conducting regular audits and inspections, and providing training to personnel on quality standards and processes.

· Oversee, maintain, and improve the Quality System ISO AS9100/ISO 9001:2015
· Work towards implementing ISO 13485
· Analyze and recommend appropriate changes of ISO procedures to respective managers.
· Audit existing and new ISO procedures for compliance based on ISO requirements and audit history.
· Verify that procedures are in use, functional and efficient.
· Assume the responsibility of ISO Representative for company, coordinate and administer third party quality audits, inclusive of schedules, communication, reports and tracking follow-up actions.
· Report ongoing activities to Management/Board of Directors and keep the company continuous improvement efforts on track.
• Maintain the corrective/preventive action program, inclusive of tracking status of open actions and Verify by auditing the effectiveness of corrective actions
· Provide monthly reports/graphs on Company goals to senior/executive management.
· Interface with quality inspectors and operators to improve processes.
· Quality Training of operators/inspectors to IPC standards.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
• 5+ years Manufacturing experience
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in an electronics assembly environment
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, 13485 and IPC requirements
• Experience with inspection and measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members at all levels.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
