SBA Loan Processor in New Haven

Job Description

A Community Bank is in need of a SBA Loan Processor/Assistant that will work with 7a loan requests.

The person hired for the SBA Loan Processor role will work directly with loan requests from SBA clients. Teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to contribute to a fast-paced environment are must-haves for the interested candidates. Only applicants with direct experience will be considered.

**Must have 2 to 5 years of SBA experience dealing with 7a commercial loans.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The SBA Loan Processors primary responsibilities will be document processing and fulfillment of all SBA loans originated.
• You will see to it that all necessary documents are completed correctly and/or received assuring compliance with loan policies and procedures as well as SBA, SOP requirements.
• Responsible for processing the loan from the point of approval through closing, assuring integrity, and fulfillment of the transaction.
• Responsible for loan file completion, assisting in the development and implementation of daily processes and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Work cooperatively with the SBA Lender to assure a smooth and efficient workflow in loan fulfillment and customer loan support.
