Tax Senior Manager

Location: Frisco, TX

Overview

A leading national advisory, tax and assurance firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its Frisco, Texas practice. The role delivers industry-focused tax advisory and compliance to middle-market clients and mentors staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients
• Lead day-to-day client relationships on tax matters for middle-market to multinational clients
• Consult on technical matters and special projects in corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods and ASC 740
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters
• Manage engagement staffing, billings and client profitability
• Mentor and develop engagement team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or law or a related business degree; advanced degree desirable
• CPA or JD required
• 8+ years providing federal tax compliance and consulting in a professional services firm
• 5+ years of supervisory experience mentoring associates
• Strong management, analytical and client-service skills
