Tax Senior

Location: Plantation, FL (Fort Lauderdale area)

Overview

A national public accounting firm focused on specialty industries is seeking a Tax Senior for its Fort Lauderdale (Plantation), Florida office. The role completes client tax projects with limited oversight, reviews engagements and builds client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax projects for designated clients with minimal oversight
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews
• Accept increasing responsibility for engagement management
• Recognize potential problem areas and propose effective solutions
• Conduct business-specific research, analyze data and make recommendations
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships
• Manage time efficiently and contribute ideas that improve engagement profitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Progress toward or completion of the CPA
• Public accounting tax experience at the senior level
• Strong research, communication and client-service skills
