gpac is partnered with a dairy facility in Wisconsin that is a seeking a full-time industrial Project Manager to oversee their facilities south of Madison. This dairy company has been in business for 40 years and they're growing significantly, adding a new position. They are looking for someone with project management experience and maintenance management experience, and able to oversee multiple facilities in town. Individual must have food manufacturing experience, dairy is preferred. 

Duties and responsibilities:

· Daytime hours but flexible for special situations

· Oversee all company projects and large purchasing initiatives

· Work with contractors, bids, new vendors, and manage large purchases/projects at 4 locations (within a small geographic area)

· Serve as a liaison between maintenance, production and all other departments to make recommendations company wide

· High visibility and time on our production floor.

· Applies knowledge of processes, equipment and system capability to set challenging individual and facility standards.

· Coaches supervisors to achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality

· Oversees and assures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime

· Ensures compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.

· While primary role is supervisory in nature, may be required to perform duties of assigned employees.

· Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and oversees the activities of other employees to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; recommend changes to improve safety procedures.

· Reduce production downtime, and PM completion.

· Builds the capability of maintenance technicians

Qualifications:

· Project management experience within the food manufacturing industry, including managing timelines, budgets and logistical details across multiple departments within and outside of company personnel

· Maintenance experience with food manufacturing equipment

· Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

· Knowledge of company products, production processes and product standards

· Skilled in use of all tools and equipment used for component manufacturing at location

· Ability to execute plans/projects through others

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprises resource planning (ERP) program

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
