Position Overview
The Director of Nursing oversees all clinical services, ensuring high-quality, individualized care for residents. This role is responsible for regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and continuous improvement of clinical outcomes while supporting organizational goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead daily nursing operations
Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with all regulations
Oversee Assisted Living and Memory Care services
Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff
Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and documentation
Monitor quality metrics and implement improvements
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence
Participate in leadership and strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience
Experience with clinical operations, staffing, and budgeting
At least 2 years working with older adults
Senior living or long-term care experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
