Onsite position | Salary up to $60,000, based on experience
A community bank in Lansing is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Processor to support its commercial lending team. This is an opportunity for someone who knows commercial loan documentation and closings, enjoys working closely with lenders, and can manage files accurately with minimal training.
What you’ll do
Gather, prepare and review documents for commercial loan closings.
Confirm loan files are accurate, complete and consistent with approvals and closing requirements.
Coordinate with commercial lenders, attorneys, title companies, borrowers and internal teams.
Process new commercial loans, renewals, modifications and loan maintenance requests.
Track outstanding documents and help resolve issues before and after closing.
Provide responsive service to lenders and customers while managing multiple deadlines.
What we’re looking for
At least 2 years of hands-on commercial loan processing or commercial loan operations experience at a bank or financial institution.
Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and closing processes.
Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a busy commercial lending environment.
Experience with commercial lending systems or documentation platforms is preferred.
