Personal Banker
Location: Western Suburbs, IL | Schedule: Full-Time | Compensation: $23–$25/hr + Annual Bonus

A well-established community bank is looking to add a Personal Banker to their frontline team. This is a relationship-driven role ideal for someone who enjoys high-touch customer service, solving problems on the spot, and making a positive impact in their local banking community.

This is more than just a teller or new accounts position—this role touches nearly every part of retail banking, including relationship development, product education, and operational support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Open and service personal and business accounts

  • Cross-sell banking products to meet client needs

  • Handle teller transactions and maintain accurate cash balances

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve account issues

  • Order debit cards, checks, and other client materials

  • Support vault operations and manage currency shipments

  • Participate in branch operations, reports, and scheduling

  • Represent the bank at local networking or community events

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in retail banking or financial services

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred

  • Strong understanding of bank products, including mortgage, consumer, and wealth solutions

  • Proven customer service and cross-selling abilities

  • Accurate cash handling skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Professional presence with a service-first mindset

This is a Monday–Friday, full-time position with occasional community event attendance. Ideal for someone who wants to grow their career in banking while building real relationships in their market.
