Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership skills and a solid background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements

  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

  • Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using CMMS or similar systems

  • Assist in budget development and monitor maintenance expenditures

  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate timely resolution

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

  • Familiarity with OSHA and other safety regulations

  • Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS preferred)

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or degree in engineering or facilities management preferred
