Commercial Territory Sales Manager – Georgia
Our client, a family-owned leader in stormwater drainage products, is seeking a Commercial Territory Sales Manager to cover Georgia. This is a newly created territory with a few existing leads, but the focus will be building relationships with distributors, civil engineers, project managers, and contractors.
The Commercial Territory Sales Manager must be comfortable with cold calling, knocking on doors, traveling extensively, and growing a book of business from the ground up. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a strong base salary, uncapped commission, full benefits, and a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and grow a sales territory across Georgia
Cold call, knock on doors, and directly engage distributors and project stakeholders
Build and maintain relationships with civil engineers, contractors, and distributors
Support a few existing customers while growing new business
Attend trade shows and industry events as needed
Travel extensively (up to 75% year one; overnight travel required some)
Participate in weekly sales training and meetings
Manage time strategically and independently
Qualifications:
2–5+ years of outside sales experience (construction, civil sitework, waterworks, or agriculture preferred)
Tenacity, strong work ethic, and ability to learn products quickly
Experience cold calling and developing a sales territory
Strong time management and communication skills
Comfortable traveling overnight as needed
Based in Georgia, preferably in a central location for travel efficiency
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary plus uncapped commission
