An established firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in workers’ compensation defense. Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters from inception through resolution
Conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
Provide counsel to clients on case strategy, risk, and compliance issues
Collaborate with partners and team members on higher-exposure cases
Qualifications:
JD and active Florida Bar membership (in good standing)
2+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience (more experienced attorneys also encouraged to apply)
Strong litigation and case management skills
Excellent communication, client service, and analytical abilities
