Job Description

We have partnered with a five-office California firm that is seeking a Legal Assistant in the San Diego office. This well-established firm has had a strong client base since the 1950s and offers a great long-term opportunity for growth and development. The position is hybrid after 90 days (4 in office/ 1 at home). This firm has about 100+ staff and is growing. They handle a variety of practice areas. You would have exposure to business litigation, labor and employment, general liability defense and other types of cases. This position supports a few different attorneys and enjoys working a busy litigation desk. 
 

About the role-

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant with a strong litigation background

  • Knowledge of federal, state and appellate court filing rules and procedures

  • e-filing, trial prep and trial experience

  • Knowledgable in preparing TOC and TOA's, preparing discovery shells and litigation cycle

  • Excellent proofreading and writing skills

  • Strong organization and calendaring

  • Computer software knowledge- reach out to me to learn what softwares they use!
