Looking to grow in both estimating and project management? A Kansas City steel fabricator and erector focused on structural and miscellaneous steel packages is hiring an Estimator / Project Manager, and the role is built for an early- to mid-career professional ready to take on both sides of the work.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage awarded jobs from fabrication through erection, including schedule, budget, and change orders
• Complete quantity takeoffs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Put together bids and proposals and request quotes for detailing, erection, and coatings
• Track project costs while handling RFIs and submittals
• Coordinate closely with the shop, field crews, detailers, and general contractors

Your background:

• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
• 2-8 years of experience in steel estimating, project management, or a related construction role
• Familiarity with miscellaneous and structural metals scopes
• Estimating software experience is a plus
• Preferred: an engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates joining from competitors.
