Our client—an established national design-build firm specializing in livestock facilities—is seeking a Remote Drafter to join their growing team. This company designs and constructs innovative facilities for dairy, swine, and poultry operations across the country.
Drafting structural and concrete design layouts for agricultural and livestock facilities
Developing detailed plans, elevations, and sections in Revit and/or AutoCAD
Collaborating with the design and construction teams to refine layouts and ensure constructability
Applying an understanding of animal movement and behavior to improve facility flow and safety
Assisting with project coordination and document management throughout all phases
2+ years of drafting experience, preferably in concrete and structural design in the Agricultural field
Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Familiarity with agricultural or livestock facility design is highly beneficial
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently in a remote environment
