We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Prosthetist-Orthotist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, designing, fabricating, and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients with limb deficiencies or musculoskeletal abnormalities. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine prosthetic and orthotic needs.
- Design and fabricate custom prosthetic and orthotic devices using modern materials and technologies.
- Fit and adjust devices to ensure maximum comfort and functionality.
- Educate patients on the use and care of their devices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Stay current with advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technology and treatment methods.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong technical skills in the fabrication and fitting of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
