Job Title: Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary: They are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and advocacy skills, with a proven ability to manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters. 
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Provide legal counsel to clients and develop case strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on complex cases.
• Maintain client communication and manage deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California; additional bar admissions are a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with [specific type of cases, e.g., commercial litigation, civil litigation, business litigation].
• Trial experience is highly desirable.
