Job Description

We are looking for a talented and driven mid-level Commercial Real Estate and Finance Attorney to join our expanding boutique law firm. This position presents a unique opportunity to engage in complex transactions and offer legal guidance on a variety of commercial real estate issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate documentation related to the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition of mixed-use, retail, office, multifamily, and hospitality properties.
  • Handle purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and other essential real estate-related contracts.
  • Provide counsel on various financing arrangements, including cash-flow transactions, asset-based transactions, bridge lending, and mezzanine financing.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, providing tailored legal advice.
  • Take an active role in chairing transactions and managing deals, supported by our experienced team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance.
  • Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial real estate and finance-related documents.
  • Experience with diverse financing arrangements (e.g., cash-flow, asset-based, mezzanine financing) is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with a solid attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and lead transactions with confidence and competence.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity about the business of commercial real estate development, and finance and lending.
  • Experience working in a sophisticated law firm environment is strongly preferred.
