Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our legal team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and communication skills. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage email box for the managing partner

  • Arrange travel and keep track of travel expenses

  • Manage calendar and organize events

  • Frequent communication with managing partner

  • Screen calls, transfer calls, take messages, file, scan documents

  • Draft and proof letters, emails, and other documents for grammatical errors

  • Be an expert at communication and following up with people when it is needed

  • Assist with any project and tasks that may come up with general business operations

  • Run tasks outside the office as needed

  • Be the monitor for the IT issues of the managing partner and when needed contact IT support

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Legal experience with Workers' Compensation 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
