Sr. Plumbing Estimator needed for a well-established mechanical contractor in Austin, TX
Do you bring experience estimating plumbing projects up to $10 million? If so, we want to hear from you! A well-established company is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Estimator to help deliver exceptional results. The focus is on Commercial and Industrial projects
RESPONSIBILITES
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for plumbing projects.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and other project documentation to create cost estimates and proposals.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather essential information for project bids.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Review and assess project requirements, ensuring all materials, labor, and timelines are accounted for in the estimates.
- Manage and prioritize multiple bids and proposals to meet tight deadlines.
- Provide value engineering solutions to enhance cost efficiency while meeting client specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to maintain competitive and accurate estimates.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience as a Plumbing Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and construction practices for commercial settings.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
