Employment Attorney

Our client is a well-established and highly respected law firm known for delivering outstanding legal services to its clients. The firm is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Attorney to join their Sacramento team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney to further their career in a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of employment defense matters independently.
  • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
  • Conduct depositions, represent clients in hearings, and assist in trials.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and advocacy on employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage & hour claims.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and contribute to the firm’s employment defense efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of employment law experience, with a focus on defense-side litigation.
  • Must be licensed to practice in California, in good standing
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to Sacramento, California area.
