Gpac is partnering with a well-established, locally owned company that’s been operating in Northern Wisconsin for over 75 years. Known for its strong culture and commitment to employee development, the company is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to support its seasonal harvest operations and year-round maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and repair a variety of agricultural and diesel-fueled equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns and perform necessary repairs
Perform modifications and upgrades to harvesting equipment as needed
Overhaul and rebuild equipment during the off-season
Maintain equipment-related cost control for budgeting purposes
Supervise seasonal employees during harvest operations
Work alongside Area Supervisors to maintain product quality and production flow
Support maintenance efforts in other areas of the facility when required
Ensure continuous, quality product flow that meets company standards
Follow and enforce all safety rules, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and operational protocols
Position Requirements:
1–3 years of relevant mechanical experience
Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus, not required)
Own basic hand and power tools
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to read and write in English
Strong sense of reliability and responsibility
Must be able to work extended hours during harvest season
Work Schedule:
Busy Season (June–Early October):
First Shift: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Second Shift: 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Off-Season:
First Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday
