Electrical Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of electricians, apprentices, and field personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Review project plans and specifications, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, daily reports, and safety documentation.
  • Ensure all electrical work aligns with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and key milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
  • Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
