Fuels Applications Sales Specialist
A national environmental and energy services organization is seeking a senior-level Fuels Applications Sales Specialist to support and grow a large-scale fuels blending operation. This role combines technical expertise with business development and serves as a key resource for complex, high-volume fuels opportunities across the U.S.
The successful candidate will work closely with sales, operations, and legal teams to develop customized fuels blending solutions for industrial customers, with a strong focus on organic and blendable waste streams.
What You’ll Do
Lead technical and commercial support for fuels blending opportunities
Develop and support complex proposals, national bids, and multi-site agreements
Identify and pursue new fuels business within industries such as pharmaceuticals, coatings, and chemical manufacturing
Serve as an internal technical resource on fuels blending requirements, regulations, and acceptance criteria
Support sellers with deal strategy, pricing guidance, and solution design
Build relationships with refineries, terminals, utilities, and large industrial fuel users
Contribute to fuels market strategy, forecasting, and sales enablement tools
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, or related field
10+ years of commercial or sales experience in fuels, energy services, environmental services, or related industries
Experience supporting or closing large, complex, or multi-location customer agreements
Strong understanding of fuels blending, energy recovery, and regulatory considerations (EPA/RCRA experience a plus)
Consultative sales approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills
