Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective commercial clients
- Evaluate loan applications, analyze creditworthiness, and assess potential risks
- Structure and negotiate loan terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with the bank's lending policies- Monitor loan portfolios and proactively manage credit quality
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as underwriters and loan officers, to facilitate smooth loan processing and meet customer needs
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including reviewing financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends
- Identify and present potential lending opportunities based on client needs and market conditions
- Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums and present loan proposals to the credit committee
- Monitor and manage existing loan relationships, including conducting periodic reviews and assessments
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to optimize lending strategies
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or business (or related field)
- Proven experience in commercial lending, with a strong track record of successfully originating and managing commercial loans
- Solid understanding of financial analysis, credit risk evaluation, and loan structuring principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships with clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
