Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of demolition and excavation projects, including site preparation, permitting, and coordination with subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor field operations to ensure work quality and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and local officials.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor field staff and subcontractor teams.
  • Manage risk, troubleshoot challenges, and implement timely solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on demolition and excavation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with heavy equipment operations and logistics planning.
