Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of demolition and excavation projects, including site preparation, permitting, and coordination with subcontractors.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site visits and monitor field operations to ensure work quality and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and local officials.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor field staff and subcontractor teams.
- Manage risk, troubleshoot challenges, and implement timely solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on demolition and excavation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with heavy equipment operations and logistics planning.
