Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Industrial Equipment & Controls
Location: Ramsey, MN (On-site | Relocation Support Available)
Overview: A growing industrial manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support and lead electrical systems development across production and custom-engineered equipment. This is a hands-on, critical role that combines design, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Design, modify, and implement electrical control systems for new and existing equipment
Interpret and create wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to ensure seamless integration of control components
Select electrical components and specify control hardware and panel designs
Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system upgrades across production equipment
Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, and relevant safety codes and standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2+ years of experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical (or similar CAD platforms)
Familiar with PLC systems, electrical panels, and motor control systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work hands-on with production teams
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Experience with refrigeration or industrial equipment is a strong plus
