I have a client bank looking for a Bank Controller. The Controller is a senior-level financial professional responsible for overseeing and managing the daily accounting and financial reporting functions of a bank. ****Must have banking expereince!!!!!!*****

Controller Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare Call Report for Bank quarterly.
2. Compile Y-9 semi-annually and Y-6 annually for bank holding company.
3. Assist with documentation and supporting information to internal and external auditors, during audits, and banking regulators, during examinations.
4. Assist CFO with approval of Accounts Payable; review Vendor Maintenance. 5. Wire Transfers (FinCen & OFAC lists).
6. Determine Funds Position at Correspondent Banks and balance bank daily.
7. Process purchases and sales of securities and entries for investment portfolio. Review monthly reports for accuracy.
8. Complete annual review of municipal bond portfolio.
9. Oversee daily OREO maintenance and reporting.
10. Prepare End of Month Reports for Board meeting.
11. Prepare Prepaid Expenses and Fixed Assets.
12. Maintain financials for the bank holding company. 13. Assist with Annual Budget and Profit Plan.
14. Complete monthly update in Foresight software for budget and liquidity needs.
15. Serve as a member of the bank’s ALCO Committee and preparation of ALCO Meeting Minutes. 16. Serve as a member of the bank’s Management Committee.
17. Monthly preparation of FHLB MPP Loan Report and Funds Remittance.
18. Balance FHLB Loan Accounts; maintain funding info for all loans sold to FHLB.
19. Report Sales & Use Tax- monitor on monthly basis for fraudulent activity.
20. Monitor Public Funds on Deposit, pledge appropriate collateral, complete required reporting for the State of Indiana, and State of Ohio Public entities.
21. Review quarterly account reconciliation review.
22. Resolve FMS transactions daily.
23. Remit Fed Tax Withholding amounts bi-weekly, IRS Form 945 annually.
24. Quarterly preparation of FR 2900Q deposit reporting.
25. Monthly tracking of NSF totals
26. Fill in as back-up to Staff Accountant and Accounting Clerk positions.
27. Provide back up to certain duties of the CFO.
28. Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
