  • Develop litigation strategies internally and in partnership with clients to ensure efficient and effective case resolution.
  • Analyze and apply complex facts and legal principles in product liability and professional liability cases, including industry standards and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and prepare high-quality written work product on matters related to general litigation, product safety, risk management, and professional standards of care.
  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships, ensuring adherence to client guidelines and high levels of responsiveness.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and billable hours are accurately recorded while managing a busy, diverse litigation caseload.
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to the collaborative, team-based approach that defines the firm’s culture.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in general litigation, with significant focus on product liability and professional liability.
  • Proven trial experience, including 10+ jury verdicts, in complex civil litigation.
  • Expertise in managing high-exposure, multifaceted litigation matters involving corporations, manufacturers, and licensed professionals.
  • Skilled in negotiating settlements, handling mediations and arbitrations, and crafting litigation strategies tailored to the unique risks of product and professional liability claims.
  • Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality legal work on complex factual and legal issues.
  • Admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (admission in NJ, DE, or NY is a plus).
  • Additional federal court experience is a plus, especially in complex civil litigation.
  • Billable requirement: 1900, guaranteed annual bonus of $25,000 with billables completed.
